Founder & CEO
Cathy founded Lighthouse Healthcare Advisors, LLC in 2013. With over 30 years of experience working in financial analysis, budgeting, process improvement, medical billing, and physician practice management, Cathy created a company, unlike the rest, to provide a personalized approach to business and change. She is an active member and Fellow of Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), a past Regional Executive and President of the HFMA Maryland Chapter, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and has obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt in Healthcare Certificate of Achievement from Villanova University. Passionate about her work, Cathy continues to expand services to match the needs of her clients.
Dan has over 30 years experience in health care administration and has served as President of a consulting company he founded and operated for over 17 years until joining Lighthouse Healthcare Advisors. Dan’s consulting company, which focused on payer contracting and negotiation, grew to serve over 60 clients including hospital systems, insurance companies, MSOs, physician group practices, (representing over 1000 providers), ambulatory surgery centers, skilled nursing facility, hospitalist group, home health agencies… He has also served as a Senior Vice President of a $230 million healthcare system, as the President/CEO of a PPO and as Vice President of a network of 14 Physician Hospital Organizations.
Client Relationship Manager
As the Client Relationship Manager at Lighthouse Healthcare Advisors, Lauren is excited to meet with clients and potential clients alike to understand the needs of an organization and suggest how to best create a solution. Lauren started her business development career immediately after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Stevenson University. Originally employed by a Fortune 500 payroll company, she switched her focus to healthcare. Prior to joining Lighthouse, Lauren worked for a revenue cycle management company with a concentration in medical billing and credentialing. She is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).

Director of Coding, Compliance and Education
Meera has achieved numerous coding certifications, a masters in biochemistry and a certification in artificial intelligence and machine learning from the University of California Berkley. With expertise in Risk Adjustment Coding and Quality Operations, the LHA team is excited to have her expertise as we continue to expand our HCC services. Meera will assist us as we offer both retrospective and prospective risk adjustment coding services as well as focused training for providers on documentation improvement.
Luke is a Manager at Lighthouse Healthcare Advisors as part of the management consulting and fee negotiating team. He is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Prior to joining Lighthouse, Luke worked as a Data Analyst at one of the top health systems in the state of Maryland where he specialized in HSCRC policy and quality reporting. He graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a double major in Business, Organizations & Society and German.
Coding Education Manager
Kathy has over 30 years of healthcare experience working as a Medical Assistant, Medical Biller/AR Specialist and Medical Coder with over 10 years specializing in Coding Compliance. Kathy is the Coding Education Specialist at Lighthouse Healthcare Advisors working face-to-face with providers and healthcare professionals to improve their proficiency in compliance, documentation and coding. She is the Education Officer of her local Charm City AAPC Chapter (American Academy of Professional Coders) and is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), Certified Risk Coder (CRC) and Certified Professional Coding Instructor (CPC-I). Kathy continues to grow her expertise and serve as a mentor in her field.
Dan is a Senior Associate at Lighthouse Healthcare Advisors as a member of the management consulting and fee negotiating team. Dan is experienced in performance improvement, population health, and Community Health Needs Assessments. Prior to joining Lighthouse, Dan contributed to community health for Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health as well as population health, quality improvement, and food and nutrition for Cooper University Health Care. He graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a major in Public Health and is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
